We are excited to welcome you back to the International Meeting of Portuguese Spinal Cord Injury Researchers!

This meeting is annually organized by national researchers working on spinal cord injury (SCI), a growing community of Portuguese neuroscientists. The meeting also receives international renowned keynote speakers and research groups. As such, this event not only serves as a forum for Portuguese SCI researchers to annually convene and exchange knowledge, but also presents an exceptional opportunity to showcase the excellent work being performed in Portugal to prestigious international guests working in the area, thereby serving as a display of the excellent research on Neurosciences developed in Portugal and abroad.

The forthcoming 3rd International Meeting of Portuguese Spinal Cord Injury Researchers will be jointly held by Centro de Reabilitação do Norte (CRN, CHVNG/E, the meeting venue) and the Institute of Biomedicine (iBiMED) of the University of Aveiro on 22-23 june 2023. This event is also being organized under the framework of the newly created Academic Clinical Centre Egas Moniz (EMHA), of which we are proud members.

While encompassing a broad spectrum of SCI topics, the meeting´s program will emphasize on novel non-pharmacological therapies for SCI through a satellite meeting/workshop in which PhD students are invited to participate.

We extend our gratitude to everyone contributing to the success of this meeting and to the participants that will be joining us at CRN and offer our best wishes of a successful and productive meeting.
